This is reefmoron's idea, but I thought it was a great one, so I'm diving right into it.
As discussed, we're putting together a booklet for the Boston Reef club. Each member will have up to 2 pages (OK, this is somewhat arbitrary. A rough guideline, but feel free to make it from a quarter page to three!) with tank info, hurdles they've encountered, advice to newcomers, and so on. We all love to talk about our tanks, so here's the chance to tell us all about yours!
What I'm going to ask you all to do, if you get the chance, is to fill out the following and mail it to me. It's really easiest if you mail it, instead of posting it here. I'll put it into a word doc, it will be available at meetings for the cost of copies, if we get a chance, and posted on our website.
You may include pictures - heck, please do! - but try to keep it to 2-3 pictures of about 50k in size. Include captions, where necessary.
There's a lot of room for you to get creative, talk about what brought you into reefkeeping, what you like about it - the works. You get the idea.
So, here goes. Everything is optional, don't feel obligated, for instance, to post your mother's maiden name if you'd rather not.

Name:
Handle:
email:
town/area of boston:
time you've been in the hobby:
size of tank(s):
date tank(s) set up:

other livestock (detritivore kits, whatever else you wish to include):
what you feed:
general thoughts and observations on your tank and setup, include anecdotes:
hurdles, pitfalls, problems you've had:
advice for newcomers, include what you wish you'd done differently, or could change:
any other information you'd like to share:

That about wraps it up. Again, if there's info that I should have in there and don't, or vice versa, let me know!! Also, any other ideas you might have for this.
Please mail completed questionnaires and pictures to vilas@emetic.org - if that dosen't work, charlottehanks@hotmail.com should do the trick. Flaky mail server sometimes.
Moe, do you want to send this to the list as well?

Charlotte
