What is the best camera under $400 and if you have on please post a macro pic.

Check out www.dpreview.com, but there's been rumor you can find a CP950 for this kind of price if you look hard enough and use some credit card promotions.

Otherwise, a used CP990 would be a good option.
May be a Canon G1.
