The flame is an optical illusion, Hanibal, as we call him is about a foot closer to me than the tangs.

The flame is about 3'' the tangs are about 4''. The picture was taken from the right side of the aquarium looking across left.

Nice picture. I am more interested in the navarcus. How is it doing in your reef. The guys at my LFS love it, but I have been very reluctant.

Rich the Navarchus is great with the exception of pavonas.
He eat every one I had, but hasn't touched anything else.

The navarcus is really a beautiful fish. I had some bad experiences with a flame angel and have been reluctant to try angels again. Anyway, I am probably past the optimal fish density for my tank and will save the navarcus from my 500 gallon (some point in the future).
