Tanks A lot review

I heard about this new store that opened in Lake Worth called Tanks -A-Lot. It is on US1 just north of 10th ave and it is awesome. It is imo the best store in all of S. Florida. Super clean, great healthy livestock and a large selection of corals/inverts. Pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality. fwiw, astreas/blue legs .50ea, tank raised percula's, $12 etc.. It is well worth the drive.

How were they for corals?

We went down after Greg recommended it...I just wish the store were closer to us :) They were really helpful and their prices were very reasonable. Nice coral selection and although there might have been...I didn't see anything over $100. I need to make another trip down there soon. Like I said, it's a shame we don't have a store like that a bit closer to where we live...:D

Excellent, probably 60% corals and not all sps's.

Had some fairly nice SPS... corals were moderately priced for the size of the colonies, but they were better quality in general. Had some great bubble corals.

FYI - Tanks a lot is closed on Sundays, learned the hard way.

But i went to Tropical Fantaseas and that have cured rock for $3.50 a pound. It comes out of tanks that they have torn down and is fully cured. I got a couple of nice large pieces.

tanks alot is also closed on monday...but they make up for it tuesday thru saturday....my buddy went today for the 1st time and he really like the store alot......

I stopped by there this weekend and can say that I defiantly recommended them. Their coral and fish stock looked healthy, and their prices were reasonable.
