Fishkeepers

Any success lately or sightings? I hope that so-called 6' shark sighting yesterday was a large palm branch caught in the current or a tarpon. The ocean's not that warm yet for them to be in so close yet....is it?

I saw pudding wives doctor fish and ocean surgeons around the shoreline about 2" long and a jewel about 3 inches.

The tide pools on the south and north side central to east are not yielding nice specimens yet either. Oh well, patience for us non boaters.

Fisheaters

I've seen extremely large parrot fish, good sized hogfish, porgies, blue striped grunts and a rockfish.

sharks are wierd. I have always been told that makos were deepwater sharks and would never come in past the breakers. I have seen one last summer in knee deep water swimming with the rip. His tail and dorsal were both forced out of the water due to depth....scared the hell out of everyone!
