Stacker,
Is the next meeting changed to be at the Boardman facility? If so, I'll contact my friend to make arrangements to get the day and time reserved. Let me know asap.
Thanks,
O

I think that would be best so we can accomodate Steven and hopefully a strong turnout.

It seems from the feedback here and via PM that Practical Advice on Marine Fish Ailments has won out.

If you guys have specific questions or topics you wish for me to cover, let me know. I of course cover all the major diseases: Cryptocaryon, Amyloodinium, Brooklynella, MHLLE, and an assortment of others.

I was reading some information about SPS red bugs and treatment. They were using a heart worm medication for dogs.

Do you have information on this and about coral illnesses in general or is this a seperate topic?

Steven Pro

I have a separate presentation on coral pests and pathogens: red bugs, flatworms, RTN, brown jelly, etc. If we have time, I can certainly take some questions in regards to those as well.

I would like to get Steven's ideas on keeping anemones. There seems to be so much out there that is confusing and contradictory, I would like to get his views. Jamie.

Maybe I will try to get through my standard presentation as quickly as possible (without skipping stuff though), so we can have as much time as possible for the Q&A session. That way we can chat afterward about a wide range of topics.

Mike and I are sorry to say we won't be attending, we have a prior engagement (wedding) to attend. We have heard Steve's lecture before and it is a good one... so enjoy everyone!

Hello Everyone,
I have some bad news. I am unable to make the meeting and presentation this weekend. My front porch caved in and I have a mess on my hands. I am going to have to use the weekend to pull out the conrete and block and build a deck so we can access our house. I have some friends that are going to help and I'm thinking we are going to need the entire weekend if not more time to get this taken care of. I also have a ton of work due for school. Should be a fun week!

That SUCKS, reminds me of last summer when I considered turning my basement into an enclosed pond. I tried to get the President to come over personally and declare a disaster area, he must have been busy. Let me know if there is anything I can do. Jamie. Are we still on for tommorrow?

I guess that means we'll have to have the meeting here in my office?

Thanks Jamie. What's planned for today? The meeting was moved to saturday to accomodate our presenter, Steven Pro.

Yes, I won't be availalble to open and close up the hall. I'm not sure if my friend would be comfortable to having it used without me or someone he knows being present. We were going to do the meeting and hold elections after the presentation. It's up to the leads on this meeting on what they want to accomplish.

I hope everything goes well. Let me know.
