anyone else planning on hosting soon ?
Ive seen tony's setups and they are both well established and packed with SPS and other corals/clams/fish.
I would recommend a meeting there for Feb or sometime soon.

I see on the topica mailing list that Gene was willing to host it. Gene spoke up first so I don't want to step on any toes. Let me know what you think Gene and we'll take it from there. Rovert has a special beer carpet cleaner that works just wonderful. Guarenteed to put a stain in any carpet with a lovely fragrance to it.;)

Then let's say Feb. 16th,it's a saturday @ 6:00 p.m. We figure up to 20 people would be o.k. The more the merrier. If sunday is better for everyone we could push it over to the 17th then but sat. is better for us.

Gene you can bring food, wine, beer, soda if you like. All the meetings I have been to I wanted to bring stuff, but forgot! I'm lucky if I remember my frags:) Usually, the host supplies a few small orderves, not mandatory Tony!

Cya's there whatever the date!
BTW, I think we may have to hold march's meeting for Tracey, as I she hasn't been w/ us for 2 months, and I know she's desperate to show off her new 255!

Just curious, Tracey, you gonna be alright skiing after falling down the stairs?

Tony,

Thanks for Hosting the next meeting.

Might I suggest that you make a decision on the date, either Saturday or Sunday and create a new post with Time, Date & Address included in one post for easy reference..

If you could also send this same information to the topica email list so we can reach everyone, that would be great.

John,
Come on, it will be five weeks after falling down the staircase before we are to go skiing. And snow has got to be softer than the wooden staircase or the tile covered cement floor I landed on. :D I am just happy I was only bruised and didn't break anything. Ya'll have fun at the meeting.

I'll bring some more limpets.

P.S. what is this "topica" list I hear about?

katspaw
01/26/2002, 10:26 AM
To Boris and everyone else who hasn't signed up. Topica.com is an email service. Once we have joined the NJreef list then we will be able to communicate thru the email system to everyone that else that has joined. It seems that not everyone visits ReefCentral and we are trying to get everyone onto one notification system. This way we do not have to pass the email list of forty + members around. I keep a manual back up list in case of a server going down or crashing. You can join Topica at
www.topica.com/lists/njreef/subscribe
and if you wish to read what has been sent thru the email to other list members you can read old posts at
www.topica.com/lists/njreef/read
to post to topica, you simply compose a email in your email program and send it to NJReef@topica.com. Topica will then deliver it to everyone on that list. I believe that only about 28 people have joined the list so far. I am still working on the others.

Boris

click here http://www.topica.com/lists/njreef/subscribe/ and you can sunscribe to a mailing lists fo NJRC

Anyone else who has not joined, please do so.

Not everyine reads RC and not everyone has joined topica, so the combination is the best way to reach everyone interested in the club.
