I forgot to remind us of the anniversary on the twentieth!
31 years ago I sat riveted to the television as those first grainy pictures from the moon came to us. My grandfather had tears on his cheeks, and everyone else was kind of swallowing hard as we watched.
Despite the turmoil we found our country in during those days, we took time out to enjoy our greatness, and to think of humanity in a new context; part of the universe, not just the Earth.
