View Full Version : Help for a dying friend

A good friend and mentor has advanced cancer and is dying, likely within 6 months or so. As a diversion, he wants to get back into his model train hobby after several years away from it. I would like to build a platform/layout for him, but I have no real idea what I'm doing in this area. Knowing the wealth of DIY plans available on the net for our hobby, I thought there might be something similar in the train hobby, but I can't find anything. I'm hoping that one or more of you might be able to point me in the right direction.
Thanks
David
