Date & Time: Sun. May 15th starting at 3:00 PM

The setup: 90 gallon in-wall, starboard bottom, 400 watt Iwasakis along with PC and VHO supplement lighting. For more info on Alan's tank click here. (http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=542016&perpage=25&pagenumber=1)

Location and directions will be posted soon.

Please respond if you plan on attending. Hope to see you all there!

Thanks Skip for the intro. Just a note on the lighting. I changed to 250 watt 10K XM's, and the PC's are now lighting my fuge. 400's were just too much light. My button polyps are still recovering. I'll update my thread with new photos and info.

Anyways, my address is 1531 Ames St, Neenah. From Hy 41, exit Breezwood/Bell Street and go East into Neenah. You'll go over Hy 41 and a rail yard. Keep going East on Bell Street, you'll go through a set of stop lights at Industrial Drive (Community First Credit Union on the right) and Marathon Ave. After you pass the stop lights at Marathon, Ames Street is the fourth cross street to the left, just before the stop lights at Commercial St. My house is mid block on Ames on the left (West) side of the street. Please park on the street, as there is no room to turn around in my drive way. (You'll get parked in.)

I have two night gobies and and green spotted puffer (both brackish) that will be available during the frag swap. I'm getting rid of the 46 bowfront that they are housed in, which will also be fore sale at a later date.

Hate to dissapoint you RJ, but the only "bar" I have is my kitchen frige. :D

I just had a thought... if it's nice out that day, anyone be intarested in a cook out? Anyone that would have the time after the meeting could hang out, have some brats and bugers, and chit chat all we want about the hobby. I've got the grill, if anyone wants to supply the meet and buns.

I wish I could go to one of your meeting but you are still a little far south for me. Maybe Ill bribe the wife into letting me host a meeting. I let her have all of those kitchenware parties.

Scooter's Reef, got you down for brats. (thanks) I'll put myself down for buns, paper plates, and a case of beer. If anyone plans on having more than a couple beers, bring some more beer and your own designated driver. :p Will need some one to bring some soda, chips, and hamburger if anyone wants that stuff. (And anything else you may want to contribute.) Otherwise, if not that many are intarested in the cook-out we'll play it by ear. Of coarse weather may be a factor as well. If it ends up being a "go" we'll do the cook out after the actuall meeting, for those that just want to be there for the meeting. I just hope the weather is nice.

Daddavis1, if you need to show up at 2:30 thats no problem, but it'll just be me, so you'll have to put up with me entertaining you for a 1/2 hour. It's up to you.

Iceman, you mean you'd rather be in FL than spending an evening in the South side of Neenah? (Enjoy the trip!)

I just got a case of Mrs. Wages pickling lime. I will eventually use it, but just wanted to see if anyone wanted me to bring any to the meeting. Was surprised how expensive this stuff is getting though. With shipping, my per pound cost is $4.40. If anyone wants some, let me know.

If anyone knows where I can get it cheaper, let me know that too !! Once this is gone I will switch :)

I got 12 pounds and want to keep at least 6, so up to 6 is available if someone wants it.

I'll be at the meeting, probably won't be able to stay for cookout though.

Scooter, I'll take two lbs. Seems a bit more pricey than I normally find it for... but considering it's hard to find this time of year, better be safe than sorry! :D

Alright, so here's what I have so far for this Sunday. I count about 12 members plus a few wives or husbands, give or take. Of this, only Nellie54914 said she for sure won't be at the cookout. So let us know if you are or are not planning on staying for food so we know what to plan for. So far, the 10 day says it'll be sunny and 57. But we all know how accurate those 10 day forcasts are.

Anyways, here's who I have down for bringing food:

Me: Buns, Plates and Some Beer
Scooter's Reef: Brats and MORE BEER!
Mrpink44: Hamburgers

Although we could certainly get fat on just this, it would be nice if some others could chip in and bring some chips, dip and soda. Maybe even something like potatoe salad? I'd make some but you wouldn't want to eat it. lol Also if anyone's gotta nice cooler for soda and beer I don't yet have one. Any other suggestions, shout it out. :) See you all Sunday. Now I have to plan a cleaning day...

Perc3- understandable hesitation on your Mom's part- You can't trust just anyone! Invite your Mom to come along. We need more women in the hobby! I would love to be there- but I have to be "Mom" that day for my oldest.

I think ReerAl said he would cover the soda, chips and dip. I honestly can't think of anything else we really need, so I guess be creative if you would like, or bring some extra soda of your choice just in case. :)

BEANS! How could I foget... they are my favorite! And yes, if you bring enough, I'm sure your host tomorow could easily down enough to chase out any and all unwanted pests in the house!

Anyways, see you all at 3pm or when you get here. Sounds like it will be rainy, but hopefully it'll give me a break to light the grill. Also, if lucky, you'll get to see a fairly rare "event" in my reef tomorow. It's really not that cool or rare, but I've never had it happen before. If it's done and over with by tomorow, I do have photos. :D It has nothing to do with my RBTA either, for those of you who know I've been having trouble with it splitting.

I want to apologize to EVERYONE for not being able to make it....and not having burgers. My aunt had emergency heart surgery this weekend and they had to put in 2 stints. I totally forgot about the meeting as obvisiouly this wasn't planned. I ended up spending the majority of my weekend at the hospital.

She's doing ok, but is still in ICU. Sorry again!

mrpink,

I hope all turns out well. I'm sure you are VERY busy, not to mention worried and stressed.

If it makes you feel any better, we didn't manage to finish off the brats, much less have room for burgers :) Just remind me to be sure I ask Kass to bring beans when I get around to hosting a meeting !

I second what scooter said... not to worry as there was plenty of food. I'm sorry to hear about your aunt, and I hope she pulls through.
