Hi all, wish I lived a bit closer to Grand Rapids(I am about a 2hr drive north) and could get involved with your group.

Have a question for 100 gallon and over setups.

Last summer I had a 29 gallon, there were a few days with a fan on the tank the temp climbed a couple degrees. This summer I have a 135 gallon, I expect it will heat slower...but also cool slower. How many are running with/without chillers on their tanks, any problems, what can I expect?

No air conditioning btw in my home. Thank you.

I have no ac and run 900 watts of light. i have an open top canapy and run one 8" fan on the sump all the time and a 8" fan in the canapy that turns off when the lights go off. i only rum the fans in the summer and the tank never goes over 82 degrees.
