Feeding

I have a quick question on feeding.

I have been feeding my firefish frozen brine and when you put it in a little tank water it breaks down.
Now I have two clowns and was trying to feed them frozen formula one but it doesn't break down like the brine shrimp.

Anyone know how to easily feed this stuff?

Check on the front of the Formula One package... Does it say "with gel binder to maximize nutrition"? If so, then that is the problem. I hate the gel binded foods and don't use them. You can, however, thaw a cube out and then chop it up with a knife to break it down for the fish. I know that "most" of the frozen foods that Safari Land sells have the gel binders.

That is the problem. I will check on that in the future.

i HATE gel binders. i was using formula two but my skimmer goes nutz and fills my cup about 1/2 of the way everytime i feed it. i started feeding w/out the formula two and PRESTO...no more going crazy...much more consistant skimming
