Didn't Fox used to be a moderator here? What happened?

Hey Merlin--Yep, Fox was a great moderator for us. He had some life changes; bought a different house, changed jobs....and his free time became very sparse. The amount of time he could spend here dropped off dramatically, so we took his name off the marquee for now. If things calm down for him he is welcome back at any time.

Now that I have you on the horn, what happened to 37 Chev? I see someone else listed as administrator at AL now.

Pretty much the same thing with 37Chev. He didn't provide too many details, but said more or less that circustances had arisen and he had to sell his tank, and was also going to reign as moderator. Too bad to, he was a good moderator.

Does Fox still post at all, or has has pretty much dropped off for a while.

Its kind of strange how people come and go in these boards. If you look at the people at AQ for instance, there aren't that many that have been around for much more than a year. I know there are a few like Goby and Larry M and DBW and others that go on other boards, but some just sort of drop off. I also wonder if they're left the hooby or if they've just stopped posting. I know that I go in spurts depending on how busy work is. If I'm not busy ( like today :) ) I'll post a lot and post on other boards like this one.

I wonder what things will be lie in 5 years?

Well,
AQ is my home LOL. I am a frequent lurker here though. A lot of people that I have a lot of respect for who have left AQ are here, so I enjoy being here as well. Plus, have RShmick doens't hurt (although we have Biogeek :))

I pretty much only post here when I'm not too busy. I'm going to Mexico on July 1, and I more or less finished what I have to workwise before then, so i've been doing a bit more surfing.

Several of us still do post at aqualink although I do read through the board and post when I can I spend more time here. I have to laugh though when two years makes you a old timer ;)
