Hey,
I have an O. scyllarus. He's about 6" long. I got him a couple months ago. He eats well, and has a nice dark hiding place in a ten gallon rectangular tank. When I got him he had small white spots on his back.
These spots have noticeably grown now...they appear to be eating at his shell??? There looks to be dust on his back in these white spots. Parasites?
Water condition is good. Mantis eats well. Behavior is still the same.
He has not yet molted yet since I got him.
any ideas?
