Okay, these types of topics get posted on the main board enough I don't need to add another one, so here it starts. As of last weekend my tank is 2 months old, have done 10% water changes every 2 weeks none missed, the second week I had 1 day of diatoms followed by 4 days of cyano. Did nothing and they cleared up on there own. About 4 weeks ago I cleaned out about 1/2 gallon jug full of macro (sargassum) and this past weekend budlight and I cleaned out about 1 gallon more of sargassum. Hair algea is minor, about 6 spots, and current inhabitants are smilin' and lovin' it. Increased tissue growth on my corals, and a fat belly on the lawnmower.
I'm lookin' for a "what would you do? type answer". To put it quite simply I'm dyin' to add a fish!!!! :D Anybody out their had enough patience to add NOTHING to their tank for 4,5, or 6 months? Give me SOMETHING to look at, it's a 180g tank and has 1 stinkin' little fish :D .

Hell I'd throw a beer at the tank just to see different glass at this point! ;)

Ya know I bet I spend 3x as much time looking at these BB as I do my tank, crap if I can't scratch an itch I guess I'll go look at somebody elses slice of glory :D .

If your water Q parameters are good, then go for it!

My tank was empty for 3 months. Its now 11.5 months old and I only have 3 fish and 4 corals. It takes time.

Seeing as this is the lounge, I think we need to call the off-topic rulers to fix it. ;)

I think, as long as your parameters are fine, go ahead and do it.
