we lost 100,000 gallons of gas in an accident last week, so evidently that is driving prices in Michigan up in addition to the lower production by OPEC

When we passed through Tappahanock, VA on our way back home Saturday, regular was only $1.19. Wish I could run a hose from there to my house - we're paying in the mid $1.50s in the Annapolis, MD area.

Hey Frisco you driving a Turbo charge? Thought 92 was only needed on turbos? Probably bunch of BS.

I was standing on the corner at lunch here in downtown Minneapolis, pondering this question. For one cycle of the traffic light I counted vehicles. Excluding commercial vehicles, 18 of 22 vehicles were SUV's. Gee, maybe if all the vehicles got more than 8 mpg there would be a gas surplus. Of course, you never know when you'll need that 4 wheel drive to get across the shopping mall parking lot on a summer day.

89 octane here (Ontario) is 0.78/litre 92o octane is .85/litre and 94 octane is .92/litre!!!!!! For those of you in the states that think they have it bad, come here!!! LOL ( well not quite as bad as in England!!) :D

Rarely look at price, having paid so much in places like the UK, West Germany and Ukraine.

...but since you asked I noticed that the highest octane is 1.91 per gallon on average in New York. Much of that is tax. The taxes in Jersey are cheaper, which is why they hiked up the tolls... $7 to get to Jersey across two bridges, and $4 to get back. Commies.

I thought ($1.92/US gal) was insane back in Manila, but now I see Chicagoans do us one heap better :)

1.37/gal for regular unleaded in San Antonio, Texas. But price is going up.

Is this OPEC or a conspiracy by the oil companies?

Glad I didn`t buy that SUV and kept driving my Toyota PU.

Remember 73/74?

Just did a 660 mile roundtrip (330 one way) from here Southcentral MT to NW MT, and gas varied from $1.55/gal to about $1.76/gal depending mostly on the distance from large towns - cheaper in the bigger places.

$1.68/gal, when I first started driving it was .89. It makes me want to puke. Mybe we should all consider staying home with our families, but wait it's a conspiricy, that's what they want us to do. Stay in our holes and do everything on the computer, aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I'm getting off of here, and going shopping!!!!!!!!!!!

The lowest here right now is $1.73 right now. As far as less gas use goes, we've been using my wife's Grand Am a lot more than my Cherokee lately; but come the big winter snows I'll still be glad to have it.

Bad news about prices. One of the huge refineries in Kuwait had a big fire today, so they think we're going to take another hit.

Well at $5.68 for 1.2 gallons here in the UK You all have gaz very cheap and have nothing to complain about.
I Don't think you all realise how cheap you get every thing in the USA compared to the rest of the world.
I think I could live like a king in the USA at the prices of things I see you lot get them at over there. :D

well, according to the news, we have a 1.9 trillion dollar budget surplus. How about the government cutting the tax on gasoline prices for now to give us a break. Here in florida, we pay .34 a gallon in taxes to our government.
