While sitting outside watching the kids play, I added another page to our site, let me know what you think

redpyro

how about drop by our forum or visit us at RC (with link to RC forum)

Micki

I like it!!! I agree with Matt, maybe something to link to RC forum too. Maybe eventually we will get more people involved with the other forum but for now, we are usually here most of the time. I wouldn't want people to get frustrated with the lack of activity at the other forum.

I agree but was trying to figure out how to link both, right now I am promoting both forums but would love to see the other one grow into something nice. I find the other one is coming up on searches and have talked to a few that have come to the other site and not this one. I will work on getting both forums linked, for now both are on the front page.

I think in time the other forum will grow, but RC will most likely always be first. Could be wrong though! :)

Not sure which, I just know that I have had a few ask about us from the other one

Micki
04/11/2005, 04:05 PM
That's a GOOD thing!!! :D

marinelife
04/11/2005, 04:15 PM
right that is why I added to the site, any input on if I should say more or change the wording

Micki

I only come here. Between here and the Dayton Reef forums, that's enough to keep track of for me. Both clubs having two places to go seems silly. (No offense marinelife.)

marinelife
04/11/2005, 04:46 PM
none taken, many reasons we have two clubs

atreis
04/11/2005, 04:54 PM
Not two clubs. Believe me, I'm very familiar with that one. But rather, four forums for two clubs.

marinelife
04/11/2005, 04:55 PM
O yeah right, Four is hard but I visit 10 or more a day so it does not matter to me

Heh.... I don't know how you can! Really, I'm envious. (I generally spend almost all day in meetings at work, and don't have more than an about an hour to spend on the computer at home.) I come here, and if I have time, Dayton Reef. It's been a long time since I last posted there. :) One of these days (once I get them off the camera) I'll post some of my pics from Amsterdam.

Micki

(Who are we?

We are Western Ohio's Premier Reef Club.

We are a group of saltwater enthusiasts in the Western Ohio area founded to share ideas, , share knowledge, learn from each other, friendship and frags.

If you live in and around Western Ohio and want to learn/share knowledge then drop by our forum or stop in at one of our club meetings, We meet monthly at a member's house or at another venue. Check our Forum for updates of when and where we are meeting.)

Ok did some thinking... Just an opinion. The word "forum" is redundant. Maybeinstead of stop by our forum you could say, stop by either of our forums (link to WORC forum) and (link to RC forum). Make sure to check either of our forums (with no link).

As I said just a thought. Feel free to get other opinions or keep as it is.

I'm heading south now, catch you later today!

Gary, you were right! :D

But, I must say I was disappointed...

My own bad I guess. I called Gerbers on Sunday and was told they would have 6 Powder Brown Tangs today. Also said they had a tank full of yellow clown gobys, and would have a bunch of macro in today. The three things I was going for.

So I mistakenly didn't call first. They didn't have any Powder Brown Tangs, no macro and about 5 yellow clown gobys.

I did get to sell my daughter in laws FW fish and was able to get her a yellow clown goby. Other than that, I got nothing... :(

But, hey on the bright side, what else is there to do on a rainy day right??? :)

ohioreef
04/12/2005, 02:23 PM
LOL!!! What are Gerber's prices on clownfish? My QT isn't ready yet, but thought I'd start shopping around. Jack's wants $19.98 for their TR Ocellaris.

redpyro
04/12/2005, 02:39 PM
gerbers about the same...how many are you wanting

bigfalcon36
04/12/2005, 02:40 PM
you should look at Premium Aquactics...even with shipping most of their prices are cheaper.

bigfalcon36
04/12/2005, 02:41 PM
well, that's if youre not just looking for one

ohioreef
04/12/2005, 02:42 PM
I'm thinking 2 probably.

redpyro
04/12/2005, 02:47 PM
i was going to say if you want more than 4 cheaper to order. i know live aquaria is 11.99 for OC clowns

buy 4 with shipping is 12*4=48+25s/h = 73...
4 local = $80

if you want 6 12*6= 72=25= $97
6 local = 120

redpyro
04/12/2005, 02:48 PM
i would love to have an anenome tank with like 20 clowns....but alass i am stuck with my corals

Micki
04/12/2005, 03:03 PM
I only saw one tomato clown and I didn't look at the price.

Micki
04/12/2005, 03:04 PM
Travis, you might be getting a large order when you drive over there! :D

ohioreef
04/12/2005, 03:09 PM
I don't want a lot of them, I'm already reaching my fishy limit on my tank, exp with the 2 tangs.

Micki
04/12/2005, 03:12 PM
Travis is considering driving to Premium Aquatics this weekend. I think he is going to get snails and crabs. If the price is good for the clowns, maybe he would be willing to get them for you.

redpyro
04/12/2005, 03:13 PM
your going to another state to get crabs...dude there are some hookers downtown who will hook you up for free

Micki
04/12/2005, 03:14 PM
LOL, free huh? Are you sure about that?

ohioreef
04/12/2005, 03:15 PM
Not gonna have the funds this weekend. :(

redpyro
04/12/2005, 03:17 PM
the crabs are free...the service charge sucks

Micki
04/12/2005, 03:17 PM
Doesn't amtter, red says it's free! :D :D :D
