Hello everyone,

Boy am I glad I checked out this forum. I've been on the reef tank forum for a couple of months now and was wondering if I would ever come across anyone from the Tulsa area. NOW I HAVE FOUND WERE I NEED TO BE!!

I've recently got back into the hobby after a few years. I used to have a FO 45 gallon. Now I've started back up with a 90 reef that is currently cycling.

I will be contacting Eric about joining the reef club. Once again, HELLO!!

Nathan

Nathan,

Feel free to come to the next OMAS meeting on April 25th at Cowboy Sharkie's. We'll be building a refugium.

See the post in this forum titled "April OMAS Meeting".

Hope to see you there!

Eric

It will be a reef.

90 gal acrylic w/ built in overflow plumbed for (2) 1" sump returns and (2) 1/2" tank returns. Powered by a Iwaki MD-30rxt. About a 25 gal sump with a Aqua C Urchin Pro skimmer. I also have 2 RIO Seio 820's power heads. I have about 120lbs live rock and about a 3 to 4" argonite sand bed.

Lighting is (6) 54w T5's pwered by 2 Icecap ballasts.

Tank is still cycling. The rock was supposed to be cured, but I have a ton of die-off, so I think it is re-curing in my tank. My Nitrities are still off the scale after about 2 1/2 weeks. No algae blooms yet, that has me a little worried. If anyone has any good idea to help along the cycle please chime in, I welcome all advise.

Your tank looks very nice. I like the two mounds.
