I am getting a new computer at work.......how do I save all my bookmarks on IE?
Thanks,
Staceon
click start > find > files or folders.
type in "favorites" (without the quotes)
copy that folder and its contents to a disk.
put it in the new computer
copy it over the "favorites" folder on the new computer.

Thanks Goby,
I know where the folder is thru windows explorer, can I send that file to a web based email like yahoo than reload once I get new computer?
Thanks though I will probably just use your idea, I guess I was making it more difficult than it was.
hey,
yes, what you suggest would work just fine. you could add it as an attachment, however, you would have to add each "Favorite" as an attachment (ie saves the fav's as a file with the .url extension) so it would take ALOT of uploading that way.

Depending on how many favorites you have...you may need to zip it up to place it on a disk. If you have a cdrw, there will be no problem. Or, if it is too big for disk and you don't wanna zip, just send it to your e-mail server. It will definately be secure there until you get the new one running.
