I have a chromi that is swimming vertically in one corner of my tank. Has anyone seen this before? Is there something wrong with him? I don't see any outward physical signs of disease.

It's the keeper... Maybe there was a reason that sand was open when you received it! :D

I've had him for a couple of weeks now so he's "new" but had been acting fine up until now. The other 3 are acting just fine.

I have done a lot of tinkering in my tank the last couple of days.

i have had new (to the tank) fish act like that for awhile, but they soon started swimming like normal fish. i know with my freshwater tank, whenever a fish started acting like that it would soon die.

If there are others they may just be getting the order of the group down and picking on her some. Just give it time

I agree with Marinelife, chromis are funny like that. Wathc that fish and see if it's getting picked on.

I put him in my QT for now. I'll see if he perks up in there. He must be sick, I caught it with little effort.

that chromis was prolly just tired of getting her a$$ kicked and started hanging out in the corner. kinda like kid s who get made fun of all the time...eventually they say screw it and go hang out by themselves and then years down the road they decide it's a good idea to bring a gun to show and tell. so i would have a talk with the other fish. :D

Micki, nope just the one. I haven't tried to get the other for awhile.

I did take the one out of the QT before putting the chromi in. He is in Charlotte's tank at school now getting picked on by the yellow damsel!! :D
