How are everybody’s frags?

I was just curious what kind of survival rate we had from the cotm? All my frags are still alive. The one that Dr. Mac picked out is encrusting at the base and developing a bluish tips. Both of my frags of the other one are still alive. The big frag of that one has had some bleaching at the tips but seems ok. My montipora is doing real well.

all mine looks great also. and the one that dr mac picked out is also encrusting and the base. i guess you did a good job of fragging it dave. are we going to look at another cotm for this month our atleast another order from some were?

Mine have started showing alot of life and new growth over the past week. Polyps are out on both all the time now.

Ditto on the Fraggin' Dave.

How are the Frags from Wayne Doing????? My Tricolor is growing like a weed. I haven't noticed to much change on the Zoos I got.

One of mine is doing well. The one with the bright yellow polyps. It browned out at first, but now it's coming back better than it was to start. It's getting some really dark blue tips on it, and has grown lots of new polyps :) The other one just RTNed on me yesterday :( It's the first SPS I've had RTN ever (I have a feeling that it's because of my heat problems I was having).

Has the monti started encrusting? Any accidental frags yet? :p

I tried my best to kill all of mine in the move.
I have one from the March COTM that lived but it's browned out:rolleyes: and the only one fron Wayne to survive is the tri-color:)

my purplish one got moved to the sump the other day as i lost hope :( it turned white almost immediatly (as both did), but its also lost a lot of flesh and i never saw a polyp :mad:

the one Dr Mac picked out just wouldnt die. last week it started turning brown (from white so it was a good thing), and last night i noticed the tips getting some nice deep purple on them. the polyps have never extended fully, but they also have never retracted fully. they're just little lime green specs, but they look good. its regrowing its flesh where it started getting bare also.

Dave, i think you did a great job on the frags.


on Wayne's frags, all my zoos have colored up nicely. i must say i was disappointed in them at first, but one set is getting some insane orange centers with nice forest green rings and yellow/brown skirts. the others are developing a yellow/green mouth with a purple ring and the same yellow/brown skirts. my tri-color hasnt grown at all, but ive moved it a few times. yesterday i noticed some new growth, but i had to move it again. it should be in a place now where it will stay for a while. my tort has grown three new 1/4" extensions and is actually turning blue. it was real green at first. the polyps still are, but it looks real good to me. its prolly the best looking thing i have. its just so small.


Chad, im up for a group buy posiibly. i would like to get a small frag of something. i rearranged a bit las nitgh and have space for prolly 3 more branching type corals and two small zoo rocks.

I dunno if it's a lokani or not, but it's definitely deepwater, and it's definitely half lime green and half rose colored :)
