If you could name just one thing that you really like (no dislikes, only likes) other than people, sex, pets and reefs, what is it?

Me? Gardening.

(Why do I have a feeling someone will say "Blue Pills"?)

LMAO Joe is always the unique one. :)

Me, I like hunting. Not shooting, hunting. Standing in a marsh in mud and water up to my behind with chest waders on, in the dark, waiting for ducks or geese to show up over the decoys. A little snow in the air, ice on the lake....just that much better. Seeing the marsh explode with life as the sun comes up.... :)

Blue pills are ok, but when I want to really relax, I like to sit down with a few friends, some good music in the backround, a glass with 3-4 fingers of a good 18yr or older scotch on the rocks & a beautiful Ashton Churchhill cigar. Life is indeed very good...

Well Before the wife and child MY favorite thing was ROADTRIP! Some friends and I would take off for the week end and just see where we ended up. i saw allot of great country that way, and found out the best place for breakfast is just about any small town greasy dinner. :)

Now it is doing woodworking and reading( when is Robert Jordans next book)

flamehawk,
Yes, Chardonnay is one of the varieties of white wine. Hey, until six years ago, I knew squat about wine. I just kind of eased into it. Kicking back in front of my reef with some smooth jazz in the background and a glass of Chard is one of my most relaxing moments.

Based on my fave hobby, this could be an odd one, but I love saltwater fishing. LOVE IT.
6:00 AM, kids and hubby and I and dog-throw out the cast net, get some mullet, 2 year old carries one around for about 3 hours, go to the inlet, cast cast cast away, and maybe a nice 20 inch spanish, or a big fat pancake of a flounder. Birds all around, usually the only fisherwoman on the entire beach. hmmm, I cant wait for the weekend :D

Popping the Rainow pill and then working out! Unga bunga, me like iron!
Otherwise it's going to the beach, riding the mountain bike(on the little hills around here) or playing Unreal Tournament.
Besides working out, most of my time gets devoted to my reef. I need to find a new hobby! Maybe Line dancing?
Later,

Quite an interesting and diverse group we assembled ourselves into. Seems most have an atheletic or competitive sport to offset the calming effects of our reefs. Or is it the other way around.

Flamehawk - LOL! Be nice to everybody. ;)

Aquaman - Sorry about the ACL. :(

Baseball is actually well ahead of reefing for me. Sometimes I find that I have nothing to do with reefing for a couple of weeks at a time when I have to travel for ball and until ball season ends I generally don't even buy any new livestock for my tank. When ball season is done...I need a new obsession, and that's where reefing comes in :)

I'm definetly there with Larry and Dwayne, Almost nothing beets being up before the crack of dawn on a day when most people won't even leave the house, just to go sit in the marsh in hopes of getting to see a canves back much less take one home for the oven. Duck hunting definetly brings you closer to nature.

Fishwish,

LOL, of course they never break, they are made in japan... I am sure what you say about the harley is true (the overpricing being soon forgotten) But the cash to get a fatboy out of the store is what is killing me. I have since "downgraded" my dreams to an FLHPI (police interceptor model) and have found some for about $10,000 but again, this is with 40K miles on them... My virago had 58K on it when I bought it, and its still running strong... you are right tho, it can be rather boring when it comes to working on it.
