I posted this site to bmw on his post. I thought others would be interested in seeing some of the nicest dive pics I've seen on the web. http://www.cosmos.ne.jp/~acropora/index.html

I know I'm the first to reply, but...... There's a sad side to this link.....
I dove (no pun) deeper into the site and found some disturbing pics of dead coral reefs. This man has done a lot of work on the reefs and is very passionate about them. I gave him our link and I wonder what he'll think when he gets here! Are we murderers or educators!? I know the answer to that question, but sometimes I wonder if what I'm doing is right? I know I have a passion for the reef, but should I be keeping one in my living room? Stuff like this makes all the trivial bs so, well, trivial. I hope I made some sense here. I better stop thinking like this or else the next time you hear of me will be on the news. Chasing a coral collector in a dingy with a supersoaker filled with coral mucus so he can know what it feels like to be stressed out! Rant over.
Later,
Bill
PS the link on the bottom of this post is to my departed reef tank. It no longer exists to be.

It helps to know a fair number of us
propagate corals. Speaking for myself, I work first-hand and in cooperation w/ others to save real reefs in my country. So, we can't be THAT evil, eh :D

Nice pics/site, BTW
