While I was window shopping at my NSLFS (Not So Local Fish Store) today, I witnessed a truly wonderful thing...

A well-dress guy walks in while chatting on his cell phone, spends about 20 seconds in the store and gestures to an employee that he needs some help. The employee answers, "I'll be with you as soon as I'm finished with this customer." The guy was instantly furious! He put (whoever he was talking to) on hold, and started to ***** the employee out. "I'm in a hurry!!!", he said. "I want some service... I'm here to spend some money, and I'd like some service!!!", he said.

The guy pointed at a beautiful 10" clown trigger and said, "Bag that guy for me...And hurry it up!". The employee (intimidated) asks the guy about his setup and the guy told him that he had a 40G tall (whatever that means).

Well anyway, the employee refused to sell him the fish and explained why, but the guy got furious again. The guy gets back on his cell phone and says, "I'll call you back. I've got an idiot to take care of!". He was yelling and screaming and threatening legal action... But the NSLFS never did sell him the trigger. As he walked out the store, the other customers were cheering and patting the employee on the back!

Just thought I would share,

Too bad I wasn't there, I would have applauded the whole event. :)

FOR YOUR INFORMATION!!!
I did NOT scream at the employee!!!
I did NOT threaten legal action!!!
I just wanted that fish real bad!!!
And real quick!!!

And it was for a 4 gal tall, I beg your pardon!!! Why waste 40 gallons on such a small fish????

Harrrrruuuuumpppphhhhh!!!!!!
Excuse me, my cellphone is ringing for its idiot.

:D

Sorry, but I'm feeling a little strange this morning, like I just lost something ...or two.

Howdy Horge!!!

Wow! I didn't know that you flew all the way to Hayward, CA to buy fish. That's a dedicated reefer! :)

By the way... I'm sorry about giving you the finger in the store today. I didn't know it was you!!! :)

That's good to hear. I don't know what kind of legal action this guy would be planning, since a store really isn't under any obligation to sell anything to anybody. The store I used to work at would refuse to sell some things to some people.

You should go to that store more often, to give them some extra support.

Horge you've got me ROFLMAO on that one.

Way to many people in the world like that guy and they seem to be multiplying :( I allways love it when the other customers get vocal about supporting the employee in the presence of such idiots, often the employee must keep thier thoughts to themselves over fear of losing thier jobs by being rude to a customer, even the ***holes.
