2 Charcoal Filters Needed

Does anyone know if I really NEED 2 charcoal filters on my RO with well water?

I could save some $$ if I could convert one to DI.

I have two Carbons and 3 DIs not sure if it helps but it help keep me from changing out the DI so often

I think I've decided to keep it the way it is and just add on a vertical DI from Buckeye Field Supply.
