Just got my cube (the ones that you guys "made" me buy). i put 20 lbs of the black indo pacific sand in and about 13 lbs of fiji live rock.

I ordered the MiniJet 606 as you guys suggested - should be here tomorrow, though i cant find the double return jet thing that i have seen some of you have (if you can tell me where to get it, please do!)

anyways - here are the pics - still cloudy because this is RIGHT after i put the stuff in. sorry about the quality too, only had a crappy mavica camera to use. i will bring my good digi cam in and take some better ones. tell me what you think!

The double outlet is a 1/2" lockline fitting, if you can't get them from your LFS they are readily available from most of the online vendors. The fittings you see are either a Y or a tee with an additional flare nozzle.. HTH, Skip

Looks good so far. Make sure all that rock is stable, it looks a bit precarious to me. Rockslides are no fun - trust me.

The rock is actually in very securly. I picked out some nice pieces that i could lock togeter pretty well.

Everything is cleared up now... I added 2lbs of live rock rubble on top of the stock pump in the first chamber with a sponge on top and put the MiniJet 606 in for the return last night.

I also ordered the locline fittings that skip pointed me to - so i should get those next week. Can't wait till this baby is ready to put some life in - but my patience will be rewarded. here are a few day 2 pictures. I'll post these at a bit higher quality when i get home tonight. the 50k size limit is hard to stay in!
