The only modifications I made were LR in the sump area, I took a plastic deli cup and cut it into a semi circle to make a skimming overflow, it stays on by water pressure, but needs tweeking when I run low from evap. I put a 3/4w moonlight in the plastic gaurd, mistake, I would rather have done something different, more lights or something, I have to prop the lid open a bit so it shines on the whole tank.

How long has it been set up? It looks nice. I set mine up a week and a half ago using already cycled rock from my other tanks and bagged LS. I am going through the wonderful diatom stage currently. I plan on posting some pics as soon as I figure out why my camera doesn't want to upload to the computer (it worked before, I may uninstall and reinstall the software).
Where exactly did you mount the moonlight? Can you post a pic? I wanted to add one to mine but will skip it if I can't find a place where it will make a difference.

Also is it the deluxe model??? and whata ll do you have in it. Also you should have a diatom bloom if you alreayd of cured rock. Since the rock is what the cycling time is about.

I used rock from a 265 I had, it has been set up since july 2004, but I redesigned it several time and took things out. Its version 1.0 of the standard series, no fans or anything. It just has two pieces of LR and some carib sea sand. I had a 'disk' calupra explosion and had to take the rocks to work so a couple rabbits and tangs could clean it out. I have 'restarted' the tank 4 times I think, just took all the corals or fish out and added new stuff. The moon light sucks, look for someone else to get and idea from.
