Hey, I hope someone can help me out...

I'm starting a 3/4 to 1 gal reef tank in a Red Sea Melody Deco Aquarium.

I'd like to encourage good coraline and coral growth, and I'm interested in perhaps some tiny frags of LPS or SPS.

(light = 18W SunPaq PC with Lunar)

I'm afraid to mess around with kalkwasser because of pH fluctuations and such a tiny amount of water. I'd rather just dose some liquid supplements.

Any Suggestions?

I like the ESV line and recommend the B-ionic, just a drop or two daily should keep your calcium and alkalinity levels up where you want them. HTH, Skip

PS I would stay away from the kalkwasser, a little would go a long way in a tank this small.

it all depends what you keep. i dose quiet a bit of calc in my tank, but thats because i have sps, clam, and a few lps. id say between 2 or 3 drops would be good for ya.

I just top off my 2.5 with the kalk top off water that I use for my 30. I'd have to agree with the rest - a couple of drops of B-Ionic will do you just fine, along with weekly water changes.
