Frank,

I thus far haven't been successful in breeding banggai's, so i was thinking of setting up my spare 10gal, with a sponge filter and some lr/ls..my main concern was, do you think that this size tank is big enough for some banggai's, if they are the ONLY inhabitants?....thanks

Hi:
Thanks for the email.
I personally think a 10gal tank is too small for a pair of banggais. However i saw a terrible sight at a LFS the other day. They had a pair of banggai in a Eclipse12 and the banggai had spawned and released fry. Too crowded IMO.
I would suggest to you that the absolute smallest tank would be a 30gal, but realistically a 20gal tall might work, but they would be cramped. NOW a 10gal growout tank is perfect for banggers(my term for baby banggais).
