I am in the process of building a DIY Nano tank. Right now I have a RedSea Candy XL. Its cool, but just a little to small. Right now I have a Tiny Morey eel and a very small Clown Goby. The eel was the perfect size when I got him, But he is twice the length of the tank now...

So anyway, about the Nano Cylinder.
I have ordered a 8" Cast Acrylic tube, 12" long. This will be the actual tank.
I ordered some black Acrylic for the Base and hood.

Right now I am using the standard 7w 7200k PC, that the RedSea came with.
I plan to add a 13w actinic once I build the tank. I also plan to add 2 small fans in the hood.
For heat at night I am hoping to use a wet/dry mini heat pad.

I will post some pics of my current nano, when I get home.

What do you all think?
