Hello All,

I found an old ballast in my garage. It origanally came from a 36" lighting fixture. I was wondering if I could use it to power a 24" NO. On the ballast it says "For (1) F30T12 or F40T12 LPS 120V 60HZ .640A."

Not suppossed to, will work for 36"30watters or 48"40watters. in F30T12 F= flourescent, 30 =wattage of bulb, T12 = circumference of bulb in centimeters. HTH
