Does anyone here build & sell canopy's?

I have a 58 Oceanic(36x18) that I'm tring to find a canopy for. The only ones that I can find aren't tall enough to mount MH lighting.

If anyone here builds them and wouldn't mind selling one, please let me know

Hi JG,

I do not build hoods myself because I am all thumbs and I really do not know of anyone here who sells them but I can show you what I did with my 90g tank.

I bought a standard All-Glass canopy and removed the wooden hinged top, cut two square openings in a board, added two VHO bulbs to the bottom of the board, set two DMI mini-pendants on top of the board, added two fans to the back of the canopy and now have a setup that seems to work well and doesn't look too bad. My wife did not kick me out of the house yet so I guess it looks good enough. :)

I would guess that Oceanic has a canopy for 58g that would work out the same way.

This may not be what you are looking for but I just wanted to give you another option. If you need more info or pictures let me know and I will try to give you some more detail.

I'm making one right now. For the MH it's not easy. I've made a couple for regular bulbs. If you like send me an email and once I'm done I'll send you pics. I could probly make one but it's hard to know what someone wants.
