is my 29g good to go?

-29gallon bare bottom fowlr
-venturi style hangon protein skimmer
-hang on filter

just looking for a basic tank
is this system good to go?

How about lighting, power heads, and a heater. Are you going to have a sump? And I almost forgot

thanks!

-basic lighting only 2x20w
-no need to keep a heater
-powerheads would be a 2rio 120gph
-no sumps only hangons

Not really enough light to keep corals. You might look into more lighting first.

He did state FOWLR so the lighting should be fine for that.

also, rios have a history of being problematic, but i heard this a long time ago. with lr, will that hang on filter be required?

yup no need for a heater...
hangon filter for carbon storage and mroe waterflow

Sounds like you have the basics covered. One thing to think about though in going with a barebottom tank, if you have fish that are preon to knocking rocks over or moving them around then you may want a layer of something on the bottom of the tank so the rocks will not fall directly onto the glass. Skip
