I've secured a meeting place for us to get together! Although it isn't the most centrally located place in GR, it is FREE. Sounds weird, but the Family Fare grocery store in Cascade (Cascade Rd & 28th st) has a "community room" that seats about 45 people and is available for non profit community groups. I checked it out yesterday and it is NICE and will be perfect for us. I have reserved it for next week 3/7 (which would be the 1st Monday of the month) and for 4/4 from 7-9pm.
Directions: 96 to 28th Street East exit. Follow 28th until it ends at Cascade Rd. There will be a plaza there with the Family Fare in it. The room is on the left through double doors by the courtesy desk after you enter the store.
