Clear tube for skimmer

Here is my 2 cents. I know that clear PVC is more expensive but stronger. Clear extruded acrylic tube is cheaper, but somewhat more prone to break. Clear acrylic is more clear than PVC. I am building another skimmer now and I am using clear acrylic for cost, and I found a place on the web to buy it by the foot without a minimum order. Check out
