I have a 10 gallon tank with a small jawfish in it. I have several snails in the tank also. I also have an inch long green mantis shrimp in the tank. I rarely see it but will hear it once in a while. I have had the tank set up since June. For about 2 months I even had a small cleaner shrimp in the tank and I eventually put the cleaner in my 72. I have had NO problems with this mantis..am I just lucky or is this a time bomb waiting to go off. I have seen the shrimp up close.and I know it is a mantis...It is green and about an inch long. I have a deep sandbed and live rock in the tank and the jawfish has a well established burrow. I don't want to take the tank apart looking for the mantis because I know I could destroy the jawfish burrow. Should I be worried.?? I would hate to have something happen to Pearl (jawfish).
