Here is a pic from my new tank right after moving the stuff from the old to the new about a month ago. I lost some acros after the shot but tank is doing good now and it's starting to get restocked!

Hey Pierce, how come you can't see the wavebox effect??

Chuck,

The trim covers the top 1/2 inch or so of the water surface so we don’t get distracted by the light bleeding thru while we are watching TV. You can see the water on the right side is slightly higher. The wave effect also gotten smaller from the additional rocks and massive water flow from the two penductors, it is only ½ inch from peak to low instead of the 1 inch I had before.

OMG!! You will need like 8 wave boxes in that monster, how would you catch fishes that you decide is not good for your reef in that thing?

Greg, Your tank is looking nice as usual..

I am considering subdividing it--partly so I don't have to light some of it very heavily.

thanks scott. Now if my giessemann light would only come and I'll be set.

Once thing I notice in movin back to a smaller tank, smallest one i've had in 8 years, is you have to be very careful about corals you want/need. In big tanks you just find a place because usually there is always a place.

Brent,

Beautiful tank, I would love to see it in person the next time I am in town.

How far up do you have the Luminarcs above your water surface?

loserkidz
03/04/2005, 08:26 PM
Pierce, just let me know when you are in town. I have them about 10" above the surface of the water.
