its a 29 Gal. with 50+ # of LR, I have a 10 gal sump underneath. For protein skimmer I got a AquaC Urchin wiht a RIo 800. 100W heater. Coralife Aqualight Retro 2x65W (10k and O3).

Right now I am a little overstocked fish wise. Thanks to my wife! I will be upgrading this tank to a 50 gal. which will become her tank and I will be getting a new 80 gal. So far that's the plan.

Hey I've got three questions if you don't mind,

1) how much did you spend on the equipment?

2) how are you connecting to the sump?

2) how well does the AquaC work?

Thnx! - Ben

so far i'have spent around $800 (some money spent on experimentation). Im currently using a siphon, the aquaC is working great i think its a lot better than what I had before. (skilter). As soon as I got it from MarineDepot I put it to work and in less than a day I had froth in the collection cup and I could notice a diference in clarity and the amount of matter in the water. I plan to migrate this tank to a 50gal and turn it in to my wifes tank; for myself I plan on getitng a reef ready 80+ tank if not bigger.
