Woohoo! We have a forum. Think it'll be a while before I can get that text above my name though. I just managed to get enough posts to let me have an avatar.

I wish you all well with your club it is really is a pleasure helping new startups get it right out of the box. There is so much misinformation at the LFS level it's no wonder the hobby has so many failures in the first six months. If you can hookup with one of the companys in your area they are very helpful. We have a great relationship with Foster & Smith Liveaquaria up here. They have bentover backwards to help us. We have also hooked up with our Minneapolis/St. Paul club and they have been a great source for frags and information. We do not charge dues and are now holding meetings in members homes which gives us a chance to see first hand what others are doing. To start with we held our meetings where we could find free space, bars, marina clubhouse, municipal freshwater aquarium, etc, to build membership. If I can share any ideas feel free to PM me.

I've also been wondering about this. Maybe we can get the suggestions distributed among the members?
