Coil denitrator

Hi there,
I was thinking of building one of these puppies. Got this link from Oz Reef: http://www.aquasite.com/knowledge/tips/coil_denitrator.shtml. Does that look like a good design to you?

The DIY section at DBW's site is very extensibe, and most of the ideas are very good. I don't know allot about denitrators, so I can't comment on this one. I have a question, why use a denitrator on a reef?

I used black garden drip 1/4 tubing. I contacted the manufacturer regarding its safetly and they do not use any antialgecide in the brand I used. I wrapped this around the outside of a two foot x 3in ABS pipe and filled it with biobales.
If you want I could take some pic of mine for you.
The design looks ok I would use longer tubing 100ft and garden tubing cheaper and you can put it on the outside of the tube.
