Larry,
I was looking at you site and saw your stand with the switches on the side. I used your idea in my new stand for my 150 gallons' stand. I used regular houshold switches to independantly control; lights, powerheads, return pump and skimmer. Man what a time and frustration saver!
I made the cabinet for these switches oversized ( 1' X 2' ) to allow for my ORP, PH, amd temp monitors. I can just open the cabinet and everything I need is there.
All wiring comes from the wall outlets to the switches and is then distributed to the individual outlets in the stand. No more rats nests of wires and power strips in the stand waiting to catch on fire.
