Looking for lights in all the cheap places

Next time you're looking for paint check out the lighting in the paint chip booth,above the eggcrate you'll probably see 4 powercompact bulbs complete with sockets and holders.A large discounter in the area is selling out to the bare walls [except the paint chip booth] darn! [haven't found out the banned words yet] A hardware or paint store going out of business may put the lights on your next tank.

The booth at the local hardware store[LHS] is"natural daylight" according to the owner. The socket is the .... configuration , in any case you'd have to replace the bulbs as I'd bet they don't replace them every 12 mo. The other one I checked out they wouldn't let me take it apart, whatever happened to customer service? It did have panasonic pc bulbs.
