Live Rock

Where is a good place to get a large quantity of live rock? I would like to get some REAL LIVE rock at a good price.

Where have you got it?
How much per pound/box?


It doesn't have to be fully cured either.

I ordered my live rock from www.ffexpress.com and was extremely happy with what I received. They run specials every now and then for $99 a 45-50lb box. I picked the uncured and it had all sorts of life; polyps, a hitchhiker crab, dusters, worms, and it introduced life to my sand bed. If you find a better deal, let me know.

If you call Sherman Tanks on Sunday about a few hours before they close. They usually got some boxes of LR there. I believe that is the day they get it in. I picked up a box 50# for a 110$ . I guess they get so much in that it is easier to sell it for cheap than to set it thier tanks. Once it goes in thier tanks, the price goes up instantly. Call and see when they get the shipments in.
