I know I was the new guy at the meeting so I wanted to show you guys what kind of corals I'm in to. Sorry about the funny image sizes; Photobucket does something funny to them.

These star polyps move pretty quick, so I have my colony on the sandbed to limi expansion.

I got this as a frag and its close to 6 inches now.

This guy is getting nuked about 12 inches from my MH.

These guys are high up on my rockwork and are starting to take off.

I've had this frag for about 2 months and he's almost doubled in size.

Not really sure what this is, but it came in on my live rock. He is still adjusting to my MH.

OMH, these hairy mushrooms have declared blitzkrieg on my tank.

I picked these ricordea from SeaScape, where they were labeled mushrooms. 9 polyps for $49!

My DIY 5' skimmer keeps everything clean. It still needs a little more tuning, but it can turn out some nasty stuff.

All the pics are under 250k. Besides who REALLY uses dialup anymore?

Pete tank looks nice...Unfortionetly I have to use dial and I am sure there are plenty others...No other option available for us ecxept Directway from Directv...And thats $$$$...Can't wait to see that setup in person someday since I never really could get all the photos to load cause of the size....

Hard to look at but looks good. I would check ur phosphates. Is that an airstone skimmer?

Ok, I figured out how to resize the pictures.

My phosphates are 0. I set off a cyano bloom after upgrading my PCs to MHs.

I built the skimmer out of 5 feet of 3" PVC. It uses counter-current flow and is powered by two 6" airstones. It pulls out some nasty stuff, but probably needs to be cleaned. The bottom cap unscrews to access the stones. I used Snailman's plans in the DIY forum.
