WOW, I couldn't imagine the ocean having a ph of 7.6. If that happens we are going to lose a lot more than the corals though. Imagine how much life won't be able to adapt to the change. Not to mention how many creatures rely on the corals for food and shelter. Not to mention how many animals rely on those creatures for food. Talk about a huge chain reaction!

Thats exactlly what I talk about all the time, the reefs are a vital part of the ecosystem. If you loose a vital part of a system things start to fall apart. If we loose the reefs it will affect each and every one of us in some way or other and thats not an opinion it's a fact.
