After weeks of research, I finally decided on a camera that hopefully will please both me (doing tank closeups) and my husband (doing distance shots). Here is a picture I was unable to get with my old camera, as I couldn't get close enough to show anything. My citron gobies have laid eggs twice now. This is approximately day 4 or 5 since they were laid, and you can see, especially on the upper right, the dark dot on each one which is the head area developing. I'm assuming these are goby eggs because they are the only pair in the tank. Last time, the eggs came off the sponge not long after this stage and I don't know if they were eaten or simply unattached to make of life what they can (maybe a few will survive in the refugium).
