The treatment doesn't kill eggs. Therefore to be safe the treatment has to be performed three times. A lot of people that have performed the treatment once or twice have had the bugs come back. :(

any updates? I just got my dragonface pipefish and they have gone to work on the rockwork... pretty neat little buggers.. there are so small that I doubt they will have any problem sharing pods with my mandarin.. got a little close to the clownfish and their new batch of eggs and got carried to the other side of the tank, but besides that, no damage to them and no other fish have noticed them... fascinating fish.. but I haven't seen any red bugs yet and they seem to be picking pretty well...

LOL, I have pods all over the place as well. That was one of my biggest concerns.

Interesting development here, I found 4 hermits lastnight crawling around the rocks (removed intime for treatment #2).

Treatment #3 ended at 12:30 AM last night.

Now I can focus on getting a cleanup crew in there ASAP and controlling the micro algae bloom that is starting.

Of note to those still leery about treatment.
I have confirmed many many pods still active after the treatments. In fact noticed several pods today and the HOB refugium is FULL of them.

Also located another lone blue leg crab yesterday prior to the 3rd treatment.

LOSSES: Unconfirmed (no body found)
2 scarlet cleaners and one banded coral shrimp.

Survivors:
1 banded coral shrimp, all snails, most pods.

Anomalies:
Hiller blue accro seems to have suffered a burn from the actinics while it was exposed to the air. Seems to have a reverse suntan. Looks like it's getting better, will update.
