As those of us in Bermuda know, there are very few places we can go to get information on our hobby.
As such, BMAC has been created as a means to get those of us with saltwater tanks together to help each other out.
Here are the stated purposes of the group:
1. To provide members who own and operate a marine aquarium a way to meet and socialize with others of the same interest. Likely to be at a bar and rotating member homes.
2. To provide cross-member communication methods (email, phone#, meetings) to exchange information, techniques, and solutions to problems involving their aquarium.
3. To hook-up members of similar interests for collecting trips.
4. To provide a forum for non-cash exchange, trade, or gift of specimens not working out.
5. To provide a forum for exchange, trade, or gift of equipment including shared resources of backup pumps, generators, and critical equipment.
6. To provide a group purchasing/ordering method for equipment to reduce shipping cost.
Walt Johnson is coordinating the activities. If you are interested, please don't hesitate to give him a call at
