What do you think of this? It assumes I'm going to be crawling thru the stand to service it, it wil have to sit behind the tank which hugs the corner on both sides.

But I think I have decided on something.. Build my own sump.

Is your tank RR Richard?

DrkShadow

Nope. What actually is RR? It's just a plain old 75g, which still have freshwater, but not after Sunday :D

Reef Ready (RR)..with an overflow. Have u got it ordered yet? Lifereef makes the best overflow. Tri and Trong has one.

Nope not yet... But I want to get one ordered soon so I have all the big stuff I need. I checked life-reef but didn't see that Euro-reef, from what I've read on this forum, eevryone seems happy with it.

Would rec something else that is as good or better? I'm open to all ideas.

Those are nice skimmers. That skimmer would sit inside your sump and be easily accessible. You will have to consider that when planning your sump size.

Yup. Will have plenty of time to pick your brain on the drive to Dallas.

I'll understand if you jump out the window in distress though. heheh

Since I think I'll make the sump, I'll make it a decent size since I have a nice amount of room behind the tank.

we installed this brand of skimmer on the 500 and 150 that we recently set up. You will love this skimmer. The collection cup is held on by a bulkhead that flush when it unskrewed. If you want to see one in action let me know. As a matter a fact the 150 is located in yukon at the new hospital. I need to go by later today call me at 990-2625 if you have time to check it out.

I'd love to go look at it but I'm chained to my desk from 8-5. I'll have to go check it out before I setup everything for ideas.

Thanks Kyle.
