I have a k2r and currently using a 201 powerhead to suply the water. I am relocating the k2r to a higher position and the 201 can not pump water to the new hight (4.5'). What would be a good pump to use? A rio 50 with the affluant valve cranked down would work but I'm worried the back pressure causing the pump to burn out. Should I be worried about this or is a rio 50 ok to use? What pumps are you using and how many head feet?
thank for the help
Todd

I run a small line from my main return pump to my calcium reactor. It is very easy to do and doesn't cause hardly any loss of flow to your tank.
